Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.Reporting to the Sr Manager, IT, Enterprise Applications, Sales & Logistics, the Solution Delivery Manager is a strong techno-functional resource that will ensure existing systems are maintained, opportunities identified for improvement, and will ensure projects move forward on time and within budget. The Solution Delivery Manager will need to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and will be responsible for coordinating work with IT team members, vendors, business stakeholders and other resources to establish and implement effective solutions to business problems.What you will do:
- Serves as Point of Contact/Liaison between IT and Business Partners and is an operational lead resource within IT Sales & Logistics Support Team
- Build understanding of Sales & Logistics Business Processes and the technology that supports it
- Translates business needs to Functional & Technical requirements documentation
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs for resolution & development along with our delivery partners including in-house and external managed services
- Own and address business incidents from identification through resolution
- Identify opportunities for improvement within business process and technology solutions related to the Sales & Logistics domain
- Collaboratively works with, provides direction to, and supports internal and external partners supporting Sales & Logistics applications
- Understands, advocates, and supports enterprise strategies
- Collaboratively works with other teams to assess downstream impacts to business stakeholders
- Serves as either a project manager (small initiatives) or technical lead to ensure business value is provided in a timely, cost-effective manner Champion Continuous improvement within IT Team
- Understand emerging technologies and assess their potential use for meeting the business needs of Nutrien
- Maintain technical knowledge of existing application roadmaps
- Mentors others on the team
- Assists in Stakeholder Communication
What you will bring:
- Graduate of a recognized university with a degree in computer science, engineering, business or other relevant field
- Minimum of 8 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in supporting ERP applications solution design and development, including cross-domain experience with a strong preference for proficient understanding in SAP and SAP S4 environments
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with supporting Order-to-Cash and Logistics related applications
- Experience with SAP SD, MM, TM, PM, SAP IBP, and other related solutions considered an asset
- Ability to travel
- Adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships and collaborating and communicating effectively in a business environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with decentralized and remote teams
- Experience working with and leading off-shore teams is a strong preference
- Superior Time Management skills. Able to support multiple project initiatives simultaneously
- Proficient in translating business problems into detailed requirements and technical specifications
- Adept at developing business cases, requirement documentation and test plans to support system activity
- History of serving as Technical Lead and/or Project Manager on project initiatives
- Demonstrates history of continuous training & learning in technology, leadership and communication
- Experience applying the processes of the Software Development Life Cycle
