Today, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness offers more than 50 undergraduate and post-graduate programs, including a comprehensive range of Continuing Education courses and post-diploma programs. This individual will create innovative designs for courses that engage students in courses and modules that support a flexible, customizable, and personalized learning experience for students.We are accepting applications for part-time professors to participate in curriculum development and teach courses and laboratory classes in the Pharmacy Technician program.QualificationsWhat you bring to the role:Education:· Must be a graduate of a Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician program.Skills/Experience:· Registered Member of the Ontario College of Pharmacists with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in their discipline.· Previous teaching experience, preferably at the post-secondary level.· Previous experience in curriculum development, coaching, working with mature adults, volunteer coordination, outcomes-based education, flexible learning, Blackboard, Banner, classroom management, and/or accommodation/human rights is an asset.Additional competencies include, but are not limited to, strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to teaching excellence, student success and inclusive teaching practices (i.e. Universal Design for Learning).What’s In it for you?· An opportunity to have an impact with a post-secondary institution, poised to do great things.· Diverse, hard-working, committed team of people who care about each other.· Tools and technology that will allow you to succeed at your job.· Amazing perks and the opportunity to work within a highly supportive team.At Humber College we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it!
