Job Description:We are seeking Security guards for some positions at data centres across the GTA. We are looking for individuals with a high level of customer service and security experience. Priority to those with a strong customer service background.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.The posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $25.00/hrPositions Available:Richmond Hill (Leslie and Major Mackenzie):FT Permanent 3:00PM-11:00PM Monday to FridayEtobicoke: (Humberline and Finch):PT Permanent 11:00PM-11:00AM Friday and SaturdayVaughan (Weston and Steeles):FT Permanent 7:00AM-3:00PM Monday to FridayNorth York (Weston and Finch)FT Permanent 11:00PM-7:00AM Sunday to ThursdayPT Permanent 11:00PM-11:00AM Friday and SaturdayRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site.
• Screen client employees and contractors with handheld wand metal detection devices.
• Be on call when a shift needs coverage sometimes on short notice.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• 3 years of security experience or 5 years of customer service experience with direct customer facing experience.
• Eligibility for reliability clearances required for data centre positions.
