  • With the Events team, continue to innovate and develop best practices for virtual presentations, including the new drive towards hybrid events and ensuring the best experience for live and virtual attendees of the same event
  • Work with the Manager of events to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for each event, assisting in the creation of marketing pieces (email) including drip marketing and website content to market the events
  • Take ownership of the delivery of virtual content, including the preparation and planning of sessions as part of the larger event agendas.

Execution

  • Demonstrate a customer-centric attitude, being able to solve problems and assist members and other stakeholders with a calm, courteous, and helpful manner and attitude
  • Support the registration process for major events, including member enquiries, managing the Cvent registration process and updates, and Convey platform
  • Support on-site or virtual events, ensuring events run smoothly to ILPA’s high standards
  • Provide support across all Ievents, including major events, member roundtables, webinars and educational events as the program grows
  • Offer regular feedback within the Events team to continually improve events, to ensure they provide value to attendees and to plan and implement changes
  • Manage event collateral and shipments to/from events
  • Additional projects will be assigned based on the company’s needs, the Coordinator’s bandwidth and alignment with their skill set/expertise

Multi-Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal team and key external stakeholders to successfully execute events
  • Apply excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time with strong attention to detail
  • Leverage process-design tools, enabling consistent execution and scalability
  • Strive to ensure the complex is readily accessible to all

Qualifications
A Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in event management, hospitality or related field or diploma
  • One to two years of experience, preferably in event management, hospitality or related fields

Relevant Skills Include:

  • Registration and communications best practices; experience with event registration platforms, including Cvent and Salesforce are highly relevant
  • Experience with Pardot or similar marketing automation tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience with Zoom, WebEx or similar web conferencing
  • Previous experience in associations, financial services, private equity and/or private markets
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
