In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to join our talented team in delivering outstanding service and innovation to our clients.About the role:In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise and creative thinking to high profile projects and develop your professional career with a world-renowned company. Working closely with our Senior Water Resources Engineer and wider Water Resources team, you will have the opportunity to support our technical team with some of the following:

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis, including flood mapping, water balance analysis, and hydraulic modelling;
  • Support mine water management design and optimization;
  • Design and implement water management systems, including water supply, and conveyance structures, in compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices;
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of water management systems into overall design and operation;
  • Conduct environmental assessments related to water management, including baseline studies, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies;
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing and proposed water management systems and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to water resources engineering.
  • Present our innovative solutions and novel technologies at conferences and events
  • Providing technical advice to junior team members

QualificationsAbout you:

  • Ideally five to seven years of experience in a similar role.
  • Eligible or Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). in one or more Canadian or U.S. jurisdictions
  • Degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental or Hydrotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience with hydrological and hydraulic modelling software, such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and GoldSim;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report and proposal writing; and
  • Ability to participate successfully as a contributor to a project team, adhere to prescribed budgets and timelines and to express complex and challenging information in a well-organized, efficient and engaging manner.
  • Ability to develop excellent client relationships
