Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Risk Consultant to join one of Canadas leading insurance companies. The Risk Consultant will be responsible for planning and conducting risk evaluation services through physical site surveys of small mercantile risk to mid-sized manufacturing or intense livestock operations to identify and evaluate loss exposure, hazards and controls for risks. The successful candidate will ensure appropriate documentation, determine the extent of risks, consult with current/ prospective clients on loss control and prevention practice, to provide detailed risk evaluation reports. These risk evaluation reports will detail conditions and recommended solutions to hazardous conditions. This is a permanent position, onsite 5 days per week in Calgary, Alberta. A successful candidate is expected to work 35 hours/ week and willingness to do inter-provincial travel.

Skills and Requirements

-5 years experience in loss control / risk engineering or relevant

-5 years experience in insurance industry, preferably Underwriting or Claims in asset

-Required to have education related to insurance, Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) accreditation, Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent

-Valid drivers license and willingness to provide Drivers Abstract -Specialized skills in trades or fire protection and prevention fields are considered assets. null
