Job Description:We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Carpet Cleaner to join our team! As a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional cleaning and restoration services to our residential and commercial clients. Your expertise in carpet cleaning techniques and equipment will ensure that our customers’ carpets are restored to a pristine condition!Responsibilities:

  • Drive from our office in Coldbrook to various carpet cleaning job sites in the Annapolis Valley
  • Conduct pre-inspections of carpets to determine the appropriate cleaning method
  • Perform carpet cleaning using various techniques, such as hot water extraction, depending on the carpet type and condition
  • Use professional carpet cleaning equipment and tools to remove stains, dirt, and allergens effectively
  • Treat and remove spots, spills, and odors from carpets
  • Move furniture and other objects as needed to facilitate carpet cleaning
  • Apply carpet protectors and deodorizers to enhance and prolong the cleanliness of carpets
  • Inspect carpets post-cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety guidelines
  • Keep accurate records of services performed, collect payments, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in professional carpet cleaning or related field is great, but not mandatory. Your positive attitude and friendly personality are more important!
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and move furniture as necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Wages will depend on experience, but starting salary will range from $16-$20 per hour.
  • Four-day workweeks are an option.
  • Wages paid bi-weekly via direct deposit. Group benefits (medical and dental) available.
