Diversified Staffing Services, a leading Staffing Agency in Alberta, is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical & Controls Engineer. Our client, located in SE Calgary, is adding to their team.DescriptionThe Role:
- Working with a Team on Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Design Projects
- Researching, Developing, Designing and Testing Equipment, Facilities, Components and Systems
- Assisting with Creating Engineering Standards, Processes and Procedures
- Field Visits and Assessments
- Mentoring Junior Staff

- A minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical and Controls Engineering
- An Electrical Engineering Degree
- A P. Eng. Designation
- A background in Oil & Gas; specifically Brownfield and Retrofit Sites
- Experience with Switchgears, MCCs and Electrical calculations
- An understanding of Arc & Flash Studies, Fugitive Emission Studies, and Control System Design
- Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal skills
- A satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and the ability to travel to Client Sites
