The Performance Marketing Team leads paid media campaigns across all of our lines of business, including wireless, residential, corporate, Rogers Business, and Rogers Bank. The successful candidate will lead a team of three performance marketing experts that provide media expertise to maximize efficiency, optimize spending and drive business results.This role strikes a delicate balance between strategy and execution. You are an expert on strategy, but are also able to roll up your sleeves and jump in when help is needed. In addition to managing the priorities of the Performance Marketing Team, you will be leading your own high priority campaigns independently.You are a proven thought leader who can clearly articulate all matters of the paid media strategy in a manner that has impact and influence with senior stakeholders.You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, results-driven environment, and can operate in a complex matrix organization with a sense of urgency.This position is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.What you’ll do:Team Leadership: You have experience managing people and leading a high-performing team.Media Planning & Strategy: Demonstrated ability in developing and leading strategic media/marketing plans for large budget and multi-media campaigns. You can develop high-level omni-channel strategies including, but not limited to, search, social, display, and traditional media tactics.Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of all facets of offline and online media & ability to provide internal media guidance & POVs to marketing communication peers. You stay on top of the newest trends, releases and algorithm changes to generate the most efficiency from our media budget.Relationship Building: Primary contact for leadership for our media performance and strategy. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and forging strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders, including external agency & platform partners.Thought Leadership: Manage an extensive test-and-learn roadmap by adapting strategies based on insights and industry trends.Data Analysis & Measurement: Manage the interpretation of analytics, dashboards and KPIs to inform and optimize media campaigns. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on media measurement tools, competitive reporting, emerging digital technologies & media analytics, and modeling.What you bring:8-10+ years of paid media & digital advertising experience, including online and offline experience.Experience leading a high-performing team, in a fast-paced work environment. Strong leadership skills and a passion for team member development is a must.Strong understanding and ability to analyze media and marketing data.A passion for crafting and identifying actionable insights from data-heavy reports and using these insights to drive decisions.A proven track record of building positive and productive working relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external agency/vendor partners.A comfort with ambiguity.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong influencer (up, down & sideways), skillful collaborator and leader among peers with a “self-starter” attitude.Strong knowledge in analytics tools and digital media ad-platform (DCM, Google Ads, Business Manager, Twitter, etc.) and analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Google Analytics).Strong knowledge of Office 365.Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Telecommunications or Financial Services experience is an asset.What’s in it for you?We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
