This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of financial records, optimizing internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in both accounting principles and US GAAP standards, and practical experience with NetSuite. Experience in logistics or an accounting firm is highly preferred.RequirementsKey Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and scenario planning.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct and oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close activities.
  • Coordinate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights during internal and external audits.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, support process improvements, and ensure system integrity.
  • Train and mentor junior finance team members, guiding them on technical and operational matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on full-cycle accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with NetSuite accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics or with an accounting firm is highly preferred.

Pay range: $85,000-$95,000
