– Support all Mark’s stores and Western stores to resolve delivery issues; pallet volume and capacity adjustments, carrier delivery date exceptions, ad hoc delivery change requests
– Maintain contact with DCs, stores, and carriers regarding missing bills of lading information, missing skids, cartons
– Conduct investigations into missing shipments or products, and tracing missing cartons as required by specified deadlines
– Coordinate with other departments to assist with special deliveries, including new store openings (store operations) and non-merchandise deliveries (fixturres, marketing, store design)
– Extract, retrieve, produce, and record shipping documentation as required
– Assist with processing freight invoices
– Assist with special projects, shipping deadlines and goals, administrative duties, etcQualifications
– Strong decision making, critical thinking, organization and ability to prioritize work and multi-task
– Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
– Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Ability and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
– Positive work attitude, and strong work ethic
