This includes the design, development, and delivery of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the creation of standards and resources to support our retail stores in maximizing their operational productivity within their physical spaces.a day in the life: what you’ll doThe Retail Ops Excellence Space Standards Project Manager manages workstreams that design and develop guidelines for operational spaces in our NA retail stores. This includes a focus on supporting the full ecosystem of physical space management, starting with store design and continuing with store training on space sustainment.Responsibilities include:

  • Full Project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation (including gathering and evaluation of technical requirements) to deploy one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously. This includes maintaining technical project plans and creating implementation approaches to transition a test/pilot into day-to-day operations
  • Manage and sustain the Back of House (BOH) design guidelines for NA retail. Supporting store design with BOH Layout reviews.
  • Research and development on how to optimize operational spaces in our stores.This includes the developing and leading the implementation of test/learns and pilots for our retail stores.
  • Create plans for change management and communication; and build and manage store facing resources and tools
  • Analyze and develop store operations procedures and process for retail stores that main components can include technology hardware, software and direct to guest experience
  • Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
  • Maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across Retail Ops leadership and key cross-functional partners

qualifications

  • Key Asset: Project Management experience in the following fields: store design, construction, architecture, and industrial engineering
  • Key Asset: Retail Store Experience
  • Project Management experience includes tracking and planning projects, process improvement, and managing test and learns
  • Organized, detail oriented, and analytical thinker
  • Possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Confident in creating and delivering training and communication to large groups/teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of experience with project management tools including power point, excel, Smartsheet and outlook
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
