You will oversee the development and execution of our academic strategy while ensuring the highest standards of educational quality and student success. * Academic Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Lead the supervision and implementation of the academic plan, ensuring alignment with the institution’s mission and goals
- Collaborate closely with the Program Development Director to implement new programs and manage regulatory permit renewals
- Design and execute strategic academic initiatives, ensuring they meet both pedagogical excellence and the evolving needs of the institution
- Create partnership with businesses to enhance our corporate training services
- Lead our local students recruitment to grow the College
- Team Leadership & employees Development
- Supervise, mentor, and manage both the academic and student affairs teams to foster a high-quality learning environment conducive to student success
- Address and resolve conflicts and complaints from students, faculty, or other staff under your supervision in a proactive and fair manner
- Regularly evaluate staff performance and provide objective feedback to support continuous improvement
- Manage staff schedules to ensure smooth operations and adequate coverage
- Operational Excellence & Policy Compliance
- Act as a key point of communication and ensure that all policies and procedures are effectively understood and followed by staff
- Step in to provide teaching support as needed to ensure uninterrupted delivery of academic programs
- Ensure the quality and rigor of all courses offered to students, with a focus on maintaining high educational standards
- Student Success & Engagement
- Actively listen to student needs and work collaboratively to implement solutions that enhance their academic experience and satisfaction
- Create a student-centered learning environment that promotes inclusivity, engagement, and academic achievement
- Representation & Communication
- Represent the institution at educational events, commissions, and meetings with governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Education
- Act as a trusted advisor on educational issues, providing insights on sector trends and regulatory developments
- Maintain proactive communication with the Ministry of Education regarding matters within your purview
- Financial & Budget Management
- Plan, develop, and manage the academic sector budget in coordination with the executive team and administrative services
- Recommend governance measures to ensure compliance with the Private Education and other relevant regulations
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with heads of other departments to foster a collaborative, results-driven organizational culture
- Fulfill any additional duties as required by the Executive Director to ensure the continued success and smooth operation of the academic department
- And any other delegated responsibilities
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold the Teaching Brevet or in the pursuit of obtaining it
- Strong background in academic leadership and strategic planning
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of education regulations and compliance
