We are hiring for a Software Data Engineer with one of our clients based in Waterloo, ON.Location: Waterloo, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Position Description:

• The Software Data Engineer will join the FNV Analytics Data team. The FNV Analytics data team is responsible for the tools which allow us to measure the quality of our products in the field based on their connected data.
• Fluent writing performance tuned SQL code (MS SQL Server or equivalent alternatives).
• Interrogating data for quality assurance before building advanced data models.
• Advanced programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python (prefered), R , C#.
• Advanced experience on data extract, transform/load processes with a variety of data types (structured, semi-structured) and protocals (e.g. API call using oauth mechanisms).
• Advacned Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI etc.).
