Job description
- Obtain freight quotes and prepare freight documents for incoming/outgoing local transport (includes provincial & national).
- Obtain supplier quotes and process in accounting system, as needed.
- Process credit card payments.
- Compile and process orders deriving from our suppliers; including follow-up of order status.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and third parties as required.
- In conjunction with service department, update daily, weekly & monthly tech schedules.
- Occasionally, prepare sales quotations.
- Compose various reports/documents (French/English) as required.
- Prepare public brochures and any other text, media, & promotional materials as required.
- Update website as required.
- Coordinate trade shows and business trips and all related logistics therewith.
- Occasionally, perform on-line research as required by the administration.
- Order supplies (office, warehouse, etc.)
- Filing, photocopying.
Qualifications
- Phone etiquette, receptionist duties, and clerical skills
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to problem-solve and take decisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Autonomous & Professional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge in Accounting and publishing software is a plus
- Experience: 3 – 7 years in a similar role
- High school diploma, DEP or DEC (secretarial, business, accounting, customer service)
