Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesA part-time academic is required to teach HIST 2205/CANA/INDG 2050.03, Historical Issues in Indigenous Studies, on-line in the Summer 2025 term. (Term B: 2 July – 19 August, 2025).The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and grading and administration of the class. In addition, the part-time academic is to be available for two hours per week outside of class time for student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the History Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionCandidates should possess, or be working toward a PhD in History or related field. Research experience in Indigenous studies essential. Preference will be given to Indigenous candidates. (www.dal.ca/hiringfordiversity).
Salary Range/Pay Rate As per CUPE Collective Agreement
