Junior Electrical Project Manager (Highway Traffic Lighting & ITS) -Toronto, OntarioOverview
Our client is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Manager to support their highway traffic lighting and ITS projects across Toronto. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years of experience managing electrical infrastructure projects in the transportation sector.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, planning, scheduling, and budgeting for highway traffic lighting and ITS projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including municipal agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to meet project objectives.
• Support the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, traffic signal controls, and ITS devices (e.g., CCTV, VMS, and detection systems).
• Ensure compliance with Ontario regulations, safety standards, and municipal guidelines.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare status reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years in electrical project management and estimation experience, with a focus on highway infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software, with knowledge of Ontario traffic control systems and electrical standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP or traffic control/ITS certifications would be preferred

Expected salary

$75000 – 90000 per year
