Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AEM Front-End Developer to join the team at one of our largest banking clients on a 6-month contract. The selected candidate will spend 70% of their day doing hands-on AEM front-end development and 30% of their time will be spent conducting code reviews and enforcing AEM standards. The chosen candidate will be working with the organization to re-vamp, re-design, and re-architecture their existing website.

Skills and Requirements

5 years experience working as a front-end developer with 3+ years of experience working on AEM projects using the latest Adobe archetypes, ui.frontend module, webpack.

Proficient in CSS3, HTML5, SCSS, BEM, Webpack, JS.

Experience with developing on AEM 6.5, AMS, AEMAACS SDKs

Worked with AEM core components.

Hands-on experience with using the AEM style system, creating client libraries, and creating templates and component policies in the AEM interface.

Prior experience in collaborating with visual designers to understand and clarify requirements, showcasing user stories, and resolving design conflicts.

Knowledge and application of strategies to optimize front-end for performance.

Familiar with unit testing frameworks for front-end code.

Familiar with AEM coral UI framework and customizing AEM touch UI, dialogs, plugins, etc

Expert in coding components using HTL, Sling models, OSGi, and authoring dialogs.

Familiar with Apache rewrites and dispatcher configuration.

Familiar with debugging using various log files in the webserver and AEM.

Familiar with using various unix shell commands required to troubleshoot issues.

Familiar with working in Scrum teams and using JIRA. null
