Position: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 180 Days Contract + Possible ExtensionJob Description:
Criteria 1: Business Analyst Skills = 40 Points
- Oral and written communication skills, Interpersonal and consultative skills, Facilitation skills
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Demonstrable knowledge of applying formal system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, waterfall and iterative (agile)
- Contribute to technical policies, plans, procedures, standards, guidelines, tools, techniques, documentation and performance criteria for the Integration Framework
Criteria 2: Technical Skills = 30 Points
- Programming languages, Common operating systems, Software proficiency
- Participate in governance working group meetings, analyzing, recommending, documenting and implementing architecture, operational, SDLC and information architecture best practices.
Criteria 3: Communications Skills = 20 Points
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on functional design issues and detailed solution design sessions, negotiating on issues for production
- Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks
Public Sector Experience = 10 points
- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations, namely
Must Haves:
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies.
- Figma, HTML, CSS
- Creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, business case
- Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD session
- 8+ years’ experience in business analysis
Nice to have:
- Experience with user centric website/forms design
