About The Role

The Vice President, Investment Operations will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, optimizing processes, and leading key strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive and strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and client experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide regular updates to the President on divisional operations, key issues, and strategic initiatives.

  • Oversee daily operational procedures, continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance client service and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end client experience within the investment division, offering expertise in handling escalations and resolving complex issues.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with HR and direct reports to drive employee development, coaching, performance reviews, and feedback initiatives.

  • Assist in budget planning and management, including compensation structures and capital expenditures.

  • Develop and monitor critical KPIs to track performance across teams and roles, ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Manage relationships with manufacturers and vendors, overseeing contract reviews, industry changes, and vendor performance, including internal approvals for vendor releases and JIRA ticketing.

  • Work closely with the HUB International on security and software management, ensuring alignment with HUB Capital (Mutual Fund Dealership) needs.

  • Represent HUB Capital (Mutual Fund Dealership) and advocate for its interests on industry committees and regulatory bodies.

  • Collaborate regularly with Compliance and Sales teams to align business practices with company objectives.

  • Lead key projects and internal initiatives, overseeing planning, prioritization, and execution in coordination with company leadership.

What You’ll Need for Success

  • Extensive experience in investment operations within an MGA and Mutual Fund Dealer environment.

  • Proven leadership and project management expertise, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

  • Familiarity with iPipeline software suite, including WealthServ Insurance, WealthServ Investments, and RepVision.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial approvals, and operational best practices.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.
