Study of modern constitutionalism. Relationships between politics and law and their impact on the political life in Canada. Constitution and constitutional claims. The Charter of rights and freedoms. Respective roles of executive power and courts.Course schedule:Monday: 8:30 to 11:30 amInterested candidates must be available at the above time – presence in the classroom will be required.Nature of work:Various responsibilities such as: teaching assistance, discussion groups, marking of papers and exams, and office hours to meet with students. The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested to do so.Requirements:Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.Please note that the teaching method will be delivered in the following format (in person).
