Principal Accountabilities :
-
Driving a cube van to deliver packaged goods cases, bags, etc. in pallets with a pallet jack to farm customers and between warehouses
-
Maintaining a safe work environment and surroundings
-
Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere with a high regard for environmental impact of the operation and attend various mandatory safety and department meetings
-
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
-
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
-
Must be 18 years or older
-
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
-
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
-
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up
-
Able to interpret directions, read maps and communicate via cellphone
-
Able to work independently at times
-
Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc. to work in cube van
-
Able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends
-
Possess a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated customer service skills

Demonstrated ability working in a team environment

Basic computer skills•Previous experience working in a crop inputs retail business

Ability to return next year during the same time to perform this seasonal job

High school diploma or equivalent degree or certification
