Job Overview

Weatherford is seeking an experienced and driven Artificial Lift Technical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive product knowledge and operational expertise to proactively sell our cutting-edge tools, technologies, and services within the Artificial Lift segment. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and positioning our solutions to key decision-makers within their organizations. A deep understanding of Artificial Lift Technologies and extensive knowledge and experience with product lines that fall within the category of Artificial Lift, including but not limited to Automation, Sucker Rod, Co-Rod, Reciprocating Rod Pumps, and Pumping Units, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities are carried out ethically, in compliance with Weatherford’s policies, relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection, continuously seeking improvement and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Effectively utilize available technologies (SFDC.com, XAIT-Porter) to streamline operations and enhance customer service.

  • Collaborate with internal resources to solve customer issues and provide exceptional service quality.

  • Develop and present compelling value propositions, solutions, and pitches to customers through formal and informal channels.

  • Identify opportunities for new products and services, liaising with Weatherford’s internal teams to drive innovation.

  • Achieve annual revenue targets through strategic sales planning, growth strategies, and effective negotiation skills.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

  • Demonstrate leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford’s standards at all times.

Requirements

  • 4 years of Weatherford, industry technical, or operational experience

  • 6 years of sales experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to quickly gain a broad-based knowledge of Weatherford’s products and services

Travel

This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10-25%.
