Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionOur client, a large pipeline company, is looking to hire Entry Level Environmental Inspectors (EI).Working under the Environmental Inspector Lead, the Entry Level Environmental Inspector is the Company’s authorized representative and is to inspect and ensure that all field project construction is being conducted in compliance with the applicable environmental plans/procedures and the requirements of federal, regional, provincial/state, and local environmental permits or approvals, as prepared and approved by the Company Environmental Department.Prior to construction, project-specific environmental materials will be provided to the Entry Level Environmental Inspector, which include detailed plans, procedures and environmental conditions to be complied with before, during, and after construction. The Entry Level EI will provide support to the Lead and provide right of way (ROW) assessments and managing/overseeing reclamation work. This position is a field position and the location could be Houston, BC or near Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake or Burns Lake, BC.Qualifications

  • Preference given to individuals that carry an Environmental Technician or Technologist Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined applicable academic training, certification and related pipeline experience.
  • Experience in reclamation is preferred.
  • This would be a contract field position from May to October 2025.
  • The candidate needs to be an Independent Contractor (IC) and have auto and liability insurance.
  • A driver’s license is required.
  • The candidate will need to get the following safety tickets prior to their first day: Standard First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, TDG, Ground Disturbance Level 2, Defensive Driving.
  • Work schedule is 12 days on/ 7 days off.
  • Work location can be anywhere in between the following locations – Houston, BC or near Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake or Burns Lake, BC
  • Salary range: between $500- 700/day + mileage and per diem.
