Title: Senior Technical Recruiter
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON
Work Model: 2 days in office
Contract: 6 monthsWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced recruiter to take ownership of full-cycle recruitment for Technical and Engineering positions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify top talent, support strategic workforce planning, and champion an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll play a key role in executing the Talent Acquisition strategy for your region or client group, all while positioning the client as an employer of choice in a competitive market.Advantages

What You’ll Be Doing:
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development:Build and execute innovative sourcing strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidatesConduct initial screening to assess both technical capabilities and cultural alignmentUtilize social media and professional platforms to strengthen Equinix’s digital talent presenceActively network and engage passive candidates to expand the reach of our brandInterview Coordination & Process Management:Partner with hiring managers to align on role expectations, interview processes, and team responsibilitiesProvide interview coaching and structure to ensure a smooth and professional candidate journeyLead post-interview debriefs and guide hiring teams toward consensus and next stepsManage the full process from kick-off to offer-ensuring seamless execution every step of the wayConsultative Hiring Support:Advise managers on the 7-Step Hiring Process to ensure timely and quality hiresWork primarily with VP-level and below leaders to shape hiring decisions and best practicesCollaborate with HRBPs and HR Directors to assess internal talent, evaluate job levels, and align on compensation strategyOffer Management & Onboarding:Partner with managers and leadership to construct and extend competitive offersAct as a candidate advocate throughout the offer stage, ensuring clarity and a positive experienceCoordinate pre-employment checks, verifications, and compliance protocolsFacilitate a smooth transition from accepted offer to onboarding in partnership with HRQualifications
Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong focus on technical and engineering roles5+ years experience of relevant technical recruitingComfortable advising hiring managers and senior leaders with a consultative approachStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent candidate and stakeholder experiencesCurrent knowledge of recruitment compliance, labor laws, and best practicesSummary
