Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives using JIRA and Confluence.
• Guide the Team: Support the development team in adhering to Scrum practices and principles, ensuring the team remains focused on their goals.
• Optimize Tools: Manage and optimize JIRA and Confluence to support Agile processes and improve team efficiency.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
• Foster Collaboration: Promote a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team and with stakeholders, utilizing Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team, helping them to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency regarding project goals and progress.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Agile and Scrum practices, as well as effective use of JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment, with strong proficiency in JIRA and Confluence. (must have skill)
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Notes:– hybrid – 2-3 times in the Brampton office-may be required to work overtime if there is a project -will be notified ahead of time
