Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Cloud & Platform Engineering – HM’s team is responsible for entire business operations for security product and architecture team, governance, process management audit and regulatory item tracking – resourcing, budget managements is owned by this team
• Project: Supporting AppSec and CNAPP – Contractor will be assisting with auditor and regulatory tracking

Candidate Value Proposition:

Typical Day in Role:

• Establish, define and document business processes and develop trackers.
• Support the Review and Triage of the audit and regulatory findings flagged within the AppSec and CNAPP spaces
• Manage the Exception/Exemption requests
• Drive closure of security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Design, implement, support, and evaluate regulatory and audit responses to ensure succesful closure
• Internet security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Bank standards
• Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness
• Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years’ experience in cybersecurity
• 5+ years’ experience with project management methodologies i.e. tracking, documentation, governance reporting
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint (create presentations for execs)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• 5+ years in either Application Security or Cloud Security is preferable
• Hands-on experience with business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation
• Experience from FI/Banking
• Experience from Governance space

Soft Skills Required:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one time.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree

Best VS. Average Candidate:

• Ideal candidate has experience working in the governance space in a Bank, recent experience in AppSec/Cloud Security, excellent project/program management and delivery skills as the role will involve a lot of tracking and following up to ensure teams are delivering on their assigned tasks
• Previous role titles of current profiles on the team: security governance analyst/manager, security assurance analyst/manager, security risk governance analyst/manager
