Title: Communications officer

Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid

In this role, you will:

  • Support on identified client group portfolios.
  • Support and coordinates the implementation of national communications plans in support of domestic and international operations.
  • Support the production of national communications products and publications (e.g. brochures, guides, presentations, videos, speeches).
  • Write and edit national communications materials as required.
  • Support the creation and dissemination of messaging.
  • Support the creation of engaging and compelling content, both written and visual, for various communication channels while ensuring consistency with the organization’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Provide support for on-call as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualifications include a minimum of 2-4 years of experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, by applying standard procedures and functional or organizational knowledge.
  • Communication skills, diplomacy and empathy to interpret information and deliver advice, clarify client or stakeholder needs, offer solutions, and resolve escalations in new or somewhat sensitive situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to support communication, collaboration, and document management.
