Requirements and Nature of Work:

Nature of Work:

Tutors will act as legal writing mentors to colleagues in the Faculty of Law. Tutors will use their peer conferencing skills as Writing Leaders to conduct writing conferences with law students and offer guidance on issues related to legal writing. Tutors will be responsible for setting agendas with conference attendees and giving writing advice on the following topics: pre-writing techniques, structure, clarity and editing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must currently be enrolled in the J.D. program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section. Students must have taken CML 4113 – Writing Leadership Course.
