About the team you are joining
Global Aviation Data Management (GADM)
team is responsible for the development, implementation and support of data
solutions needed to monitor safety, operational and efficiency KPIs. These
includes, without being limited to:
- Managing
Data Sharing Programs (IDX, FDX, MCX and ADX) - Supporting
internal and external businesses in their data, reporting and dashboard
needs - Developing
a coherent approach to data visualization and analysis - Ensuring
the availability, reliability, and quality of the data and related
dashboards through continuous monitoring - Adhering
to data governance policies, quality standards and best practices
What your day would be like
You will be working with a team on the
following items:
- Routine analysis of flight safety and operational
data - Ensure operational data quality and data
submission consistency by participants across all the GADM programs - Monitor and action on any issues noted with the existing
ETLs for data integration as the primary data steward - Develop
statistical and ad-hoc analysis reports as required - Develop
analytical visualizations using the datasets available to the GADM team - Liaise with
stakeholders on Analysis Specifications to ensure that the most
appropriate safety events and thresholds are in place. - Work with GADM backend team to raise any tickets
for encountered issues and perform testing for the resolution of those
issues
We would love to hear from you if
- University
degree, technical degree or equivalent, preferably in the disciplines of
Engineering (mechanical, aeronautical or systems), Computer Science or
Mathematics - Minimum
two (2) years of relevant operational experience in one or more the
following roles: aircraft engineer, private or commercial pilot and/or
aircraft data recording, flight safety - Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a must
- Experience
in data manipulation and in FDA/FOQA is an asset - Excellent
problem solving, analytical skills, report writing skills and the ability
to work autonomously
Travel Required: 5%
