Clean Harbors is seeking a District Manager to join our safety-driven team in Western Ontario! The District Manager for Western Ontario provides strategic and operational leadership to Clean Harbors’ Technical Services, Field Services, and Safety-Kleen (SKE) business units across the region. This role ensures safe, compliant, and profitable operations while developing high-performing teams and strengthening customer relationships. The District Manager oversees multiple branch locations, drives revenue growth, optimizes internalization strategies, and ensures alignment with corporate objectives, environmental compliance standards, and customer expectations.

- 7+ years of district/senior leadership experience in the environmental, field operations or related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or related highly preferred.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L management.
- Experience in field services, emergency response, and spill remediation highly preferred.
- Proven multi-site team leadership with solid safety and regulatory knowledge.
- Valid G driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Western Ontario region.

- Promote a safety-focused culture through direction and support Branch Managers, Field Service Managers and all Sales & Service representatives across Western Ontario.
- Streamline processes to manage contracts efficiently and enhance customer and employee satisfaction.
- Drive employee engagement, recruitment, retention, training, and leadership development.
- Conduct regular site visits, employee touchpoints, and performance reviews.
- Develop and manage regional budgets and business plans that align with corporate targets.
- Analyze regional business intelligence to mitigate risks and drive growth opportunities.
- Prepare reports for senior management and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor branch performance (KPIs, safety, incidents, revenue, compliance) and partner with internal teams to remove barriers and improve efficiency.
- Ensure Branch Managers cultivate high-performing, safety-focused, and development-oriented teams
- Optimize personnel, equipment, and inventory to meet customer commitments and ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure alignment with Clean Harbors values, Code of Conduct, and EHS standards.
