The Department of Applied Computer Science at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a probationary appointment at the rank of Instructor. Rank and salary levels will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in accordance with The University of Winnipeg Faculty Association Collective Agreement (2020-2027). Subject to budgetary approval, the date of appointment is anticipated to be July 1, 2026.
Applicants are expected to hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have an interest or experience in university service and governance, and a commitment to excellent and innovative undergraduate teaching with expertise to teach undergraduate Applied Computer Science courses. Experience in teaching university courses in Databases, Software Engineering, Programming, and Data Structures and Algorithms is an asset.
