What you will do:

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of Nutrien’s youth education programs, focusing on key areas such as program development and program implementation, event planning, and coordination of materials.
  • Organize and oversee educational displays and community outreach efforts, ensuring effective staffing and seamless execution.
  • Lead the administrative systems for Nutrien’s youth education programs, including website updates and social media, while providing insightful reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and governance of Nutrien’s youth education programs, ensuring all activities align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Community Investment team to enhance and integrate Nutrien’s youth education through the organization and various partnerships and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Nutrien’s Communications team to promote youth programs both internally and externally, amplifying program visibility and impact.
  • Offer essential administrative support to both Nutrien’s youth education programs and the broader Community Relations and Investment team as required.

What you will bring:

  • A university degree in Agriculture, Education, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and delivering programs or leading initiatives aimed at community engagement.
  • Leadership skills with a strong ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems creatively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks while working within a diverse team environment.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with WordPress or other web publishing platforms is a valuable addition.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms is considered an asset.
