The Analyst, HR Generalist / Scheduler located in our Belleville, Canada manufacturing facility provides general HR assistance to business unit or corporate functional area which may include recruiting, selection & staffing, performance management, compensation and benefits. Acts as the liaison between departments, divisions and COE’s as required. Manage or oversee training records and be responsible for training coordination activities. Gather data and generate reports outlining results related to HR Metrics. Serves a wide variety of internal and external customers, manages complex stakeholder relationships, and consistently represents the needs of the organization. Liaise with all plant employees as well as Corporate Human Resources and Compensation. Limited travel is required (5 to 10%).

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to Human Resources Manager.

  • Works closely with Plant Management, Payroll, as well as Corporate Human Resources, Leave Management.

  • Works closely with each Department Leader to drive KIWS and People Center process improvements.

    HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Aids and assists the Human Resources Manager in the efficient operation of the department, Plant, and Company goals and objectives

  • Support, and process all records management associated with compensation.

  • Ensure all plant policy/procedures are posted and administered accordingly. Works with employees on individual basis to problem solve all issues and questions.

  • Leaves of Absences—Oversee or manage time off work pay waiting periods and forward to payroll, administer leave of absence programs, communicate leave status with Operations.

  • Administer and is power user for all HR records management within all human resource time and attendance system.

  • Manage internal bid transfer process for hourly employees.

  • Manage the plant uniform program.

  • Responsible for supporting talent management process for hourly employees. Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards.

  • Coordinate/support training initiatives by maintaining training records and documentation.

  • Monitor qualification progression and maintain progression records.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or College Diploma and CHRP preferred or 2-5 years of experience in a related field required.

  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating skills are essential.

  • Human relations and verbal/written communication skills are required as well as the ability to problem solve.

  • Some experience in developing training programs/materials required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
