Preference will be given to an instructor whose own research interests fall within these areas, and who has relevant scholarly research and publicationsTheme : Exploring the Self : Renaissance Humanism to Posthumanism.The course explores the philosophical, political, and ethical stakes involved in advancing or rejecting theories of humanism and addresses basic questions on subjectivity: What is the nature of the self?
