The course offers students an opportunity to understand key aspects of Leadership based on research, theory and practice. Students will assess their own leadership style and consider how to build and adapt their current leadership style for greater impact. Experienced and successful healthcare executives will share insights concerning their leadership journey and the lessons they have learned.
The course will examine how cultures of innovation are formed, barriers and enablers to innovation and how leadership skills and strategic thinking can be applied within healthcare organizations. Must possess sound knowledge of the current issues related to the application of strategy and innovation within healthcare. This course is delivered primarily asynchronously.
