Students will examine the primary regulatory issues which have emerged in this area, including: Corporate organization (Community Interest Corporations); tax (CRA & CED/social enterprise regulations); nonprofit/charitable (Program Related Investments, responsible/mission based investing). A special emphasis will be placed on understanding the “impact investment” framework that is emerging to finance these developments.
