The workload consists of 18 credits of teaching (equivalent to six courses) in French and English at the graduate level. Three credits are also awarded for administrative activities to support student success in the Faculty of Education.RequirementsThe ideal candidate must:– Have a doctorate in counselling psychology or a related mental health profession (e.g., clinical psychology, social work, career counselling, educational and career counselling);– Meet the clinical supervision requirements of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario;– Have a record of recent publications in the field of mental health, or in career counselling (asset);– Have the ability to teach in different formats (face-to-face, online and hybrid);– Fluent in French and English, both written and oral;– Have the skills to teach various courses in the Master’s program in Counselling Psychology – for example:EDU 5671 – Counselling et psychothérapieEDU 5674 – Psychométrie et mesure d’évaluation en psychologie du counsellingEDU 5871 – Développement des habiletés en counselling et psychothérapieEDU 5873 – Théories du choix de carrièreEDU 6775 – Psychopathologie et évaluationEDU 6871/EDU6873 – Stages en psychologie du Counselling– Possess the necessary level of qualification to supervise master’s internships in the Faculty’s Community Counselling Service.The University may consider experience or qualifications deemed equivalent to the above requirements.Five-year contract with the equivalent of seven courses per academic year (21 credits).Additional Information and/or Comments:An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
