Contexts of second language teaching. Overview of basic concepts in second language curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment. Teaching and integration of the four main language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and instruction of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a doctorate (or be completing a doctorate) in Second Language Education
  • Academic and professional publications in the field of study over the past 5 years
  • Professional experience facilitating online courses and/or as a second language teacher in Canada or abroad is an asset
  • Expertise in this field
