Our Ajax client, a manufacturing company that specializes in floor registers, is seeking an Assembly General Labourer to join their team for a special project!

Responsibilities:
- Work in the assembly department to support daily production needs
- Take registered tops from the conveyor line and assemble components accurately
- Place assembled parts into plastic bins and load bins onto the assembly line for the next department
- Check and maintain the visual quality standard of each produced part
- Ensure proper fit and function of clips on floor registers
- Correctly package all assembled parts to ensure labels and dates are accurate
- Follow work orders to ensure correct quantities and product specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of Assembly General Labour experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Safety shoes required
- Comfortable lifting up to 10-15lbs
- Ability to handle a variety of high-pressure situations and work independently
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in Injection Moulding (asset)
- Positive attitude, team player and reliable
- Strict adherence to meet tight deadlines
Compensation and Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
