Our Ajax client, a manufacturing company that specializes in floor registers, is seeking an Assembly General Labourer to join their team for a special project!

Responsibilities:

• Work in the assembly department to support daily production needs
• Take registered tops from the conveyor line and assemble components accurately
• Place assembled parts into plastic bins and load bins onto the assembly line for the next department
• Check and maintain the visual quality standard of each produced part
• Ensure proper fit and function of clips on floor registers
• Correctly package all assembled parts to ensure labels and dates are accurate
• Follow work orders to ensure correct quantities and product specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of Assembly General Labour experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Safety shoes required
• Comfortable lifting up to 10-15lbs
• Ability to handle a variety of high-pressure situations and work independently

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in Injection Moulding (asset)
• Positive attitude, team player and reliable
• Strict adherence to meet tight deadlines

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm
• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
