Our Client in the automotive interior business is hiring for a production worker to assemble car interiors in Scarborough. The role involves mechanical work or machinery operation in a fast-paced, repetitive environment and requires standing for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and handle car seats.
• Use heavy machines to assemble products.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks within shift timelines and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Stand for long periods and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly line experience is needed with minimal lifting (up to 10 lbs).
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for full shifts, using heavy machinery
• Must be punctual with reliable attendance.
• Required: Steel-toed safety shoes and blue pants; English Language skills.

Compensation & Shifts

• Pay: $19.00/hour + shift premiums (Shift length may vary between 6–7 hours depending on production demand)
• Morning (Shift A): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM → $0.20/hr premium
• Afternoon (Shift B): 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
• Night (Shift C): 12:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
