Our Client in the automotive interior business is hiring for a production worker to assemble car interiors in Scarborough. The role involves mechanical work or machinery operation in a fast-paced, repetitive environment and requires standing for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

Assemble and handle car seats.
Use heavy machines to assemble products.
Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures.
Complete assigned tasks within shift timelines and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Stand for long periods and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous assembly line experience is needed with minimal lifting (up to 10 lbs).
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for full shifts, using heavy machinery
Must be punctual with reliable attendance.
Required: Steel-toed safety shoes and blue pants; English Language skills.

Compensation & Shifts

Pay: $19.00/hour + shift premiums (Shift length may vary between 6–7 hours depending on production demand)
Morning (Shift A): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM → $0.20/hr premium
Afternoon (Shift B): 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
Night (Shift C): 12:00 AM – 7:00/8:00 AM → $0.20/hr premium
