Job Description:Mandate:
Reporting to the Customs Services Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the brokerage team processes, ensuring the appropriate and efficient delivery of customs services to Delmar clients, as well as, ensuring company goals and targets are met. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for managing customs transactions for a portfolio of clients. Precise revision and verification of customs documents in order to clear shipments is essential. Addressing client issues and maintaining positive relationships with them as well as with relevant government authorities are also integral parts of this role.Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Customs Brokerage operations
  • Experience with staff management considered a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian customs regulations & trade processes and programs
  • CCS designation or CBSA professional qualification is considered an asset
