The College of Community and Global Health (CCGH) invites applications for a probationary (tenure-track) position at the Assistant Professor rank, commencing July 1st 2026, or on a date mutually agreed upon. Salary and rank (if applicable) will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The College of Community and Global Health seeks an emerging scholar with a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Exceptional candidates will be considered with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below:

The position:
The ideal candidate will bring a comparative, theoretically informed approach to the study of health and illness with a focus on equity and social justice. This position is open to those whose program of research is collaborative and intended to be transformative. The specific focus can be health systems, population health, clinical, and/or focused on improving the health and wellbeing of specific marginalized populations.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated competence in teaching and research and must show the potential to foster strong community/health system-based relationships. Preference will be given to a candidate with a PhD in the health and/or social sciences by the commencement of the appointment. Applicants in related disciplines may be considered.

c. a brief statement of teaching interests and evidence of effective teaching; and
d. a description of experience with community engagement through research, teaching and/ or service.

The College of Community and Global Health currently has 48 full time tenured and tenure track faculty members and 4 Instructors and offers a full range of both undergraduate and graduate programs in Community Health Sciences and Public Health.
