The Department of Music at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Piano. This is a full-time appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2025, subject to budgetary approval.

Preference will be given to applicants with a completed doctorate in Piano performance, an established record as a performer, and successful teaching experience at the university level. Teaching responsibilities will include weekly studio instruction in piano in the Bachelor of Music program (up to 15 students) and hearing performance juries associated with these students. Other responsibilities may include teaching Collaborative Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Keyboard Literature, Chamber Music, or other courses in the successful candidate’s fields of expertise. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to maintain an active performance profile and undertake departmental service including outreach, recruitment, and committee work. Lessons and courses will be taught on the campus of Mount Allison University.
