The Department of Indigenous Education at the University of Victoria invites applications for a limited term appointment for Assistant Teaching Professor, Indigenous Language Reclamation Revitalization and Maintenance, to commence January 1, 2026.
In accordance with the University’s Equity Plan and pursuant to Section 42 of the BC Human Rights Code, preference will be given to [members of the following groups: Indigenous peoples. Candidates from this group, who wish to qualify for preferential consideration, must self-identify.
The candidate’s qualifications, experience and overall market demand will determine a candidate’s final salary offer. The salary for this position includes a competitive salary range of $114,000 – $141,000. UVic is committed to offering an equitable and competitive salary, inclusive of a generous benefits package, eligible leaves and pension plan.
