Assistant to the Vice-President, Legal Affairs

Don’t wait any longer!YOUR ROLE :On a day-to-day basis, you will assist a Vice-President in the execution of his various mandates.
Responsibilities will include :
- Coordination of meetings with the Board of Directors, committees and third parties;
- Prepare and amend various documents (contracts, declarations, agendas, legal procedures, resolutions, etc.);
- Maintain electronic filing system (enter follow-up dates and reminders to meet legal deadlines) and obtain reports;
- Participate in corporate bookkeeping and certain projects;
- Communicate with various parties involved in files;
- Organize logistics for conferences, meetings, trips and any other travel required;
- Manage the VP’s agenda, e-mails and appointments, and ensure follow-up;
- Assist the General Counsel in planning and preparing the legal department’s budget, and maintain a budget tracking system;
- Provide support for various M&A transactions.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- DVS in secretarial studies with a legal profile or ACS in administration, or any other relevant training/experience combination will be considered;
- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, discretion ;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word);
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written, Spanish an asset;
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Autonomy, discretion and thoroughness;
- Proactivity, attention to detail and teamwork;
- Good interpersonal skills.
