Associate Sales Representative – JR/Trauma – Cambridge in Hamilton, Ontario

What you will do   

As an Associate Sales Representative specializing in medical devices , you will promote and sell joint replacement and trauma solutions to healthcare professionals. You confidently conduct product evaluations in Operating Room and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses, and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. Join us and play a vital role in delivering innovative medical solutions that improve patient outcomes.  

  • Assists Sales Representatives in the promotion and sale of medical device products 

  • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate hospital staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products 

  • Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings 

  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings 

  • Keeps Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Sales informed of territory progress on a regular basis 

  • Solves medical device product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion 

  • Manages and maintains a sample inventory of products 

What you need

Required:

  • University Degree

  • 1+ years in an outside sales position

Preferred:

  • Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology 

  • 1+ years of experience as an Associate Sales Representative for a Medical Device company

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
