We take pride in hiring and nurturing talented individuals who share our commitment to helping our clients build and preserve their wealth so they can achieve the goals that matter most to them.The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in White Rock, BC, is looking for a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Associate, providing dedicated support in administrative, investment & money management activities for a high performing Advisory team.What will you do?

• Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
• Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
• Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).
• Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
• Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
• Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
• Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
• Execute trades and rebalance portfolios.
• Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.The expected base salary range for this position is $37,500 – $45,000.This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.RBC’s compensation philosophy and principles recognize the importance of a highly qualified global workforce and plays a critical role in attracting, engaging and retaining talent that:
