Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

The contractor will be working on the avionics components of the aircraft. Responsibilities will include installing avionics parts, wiring components, crimping, splicing, testing, installing, and troubleshooting the equipment. Some bench work may be required as it becomes available. Training on the specifics of the aircraft will be provided. The contractor will work in one of the three primary cells: Fuselage, Panel, or Wings.

Responsibilities

• Install avionics parts into the aircraft

• Wire components, crimp, splice, and terminate wires

• Test, install, and troubleshoot avionics equipment

• Perform bench work as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints

Requirements

• Must have minimum 3+ years of experience in avionics

• Troubleshooting and installation of avionics systems

• Crimping, terminating, and splicing wires

• Soldering skills

• Ability to read blueprints

Work Environment

Tools will be provided on-site. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM, with unlimited overtime available, including weekends. There is potential for a shift change to 2:30PM – 11:00PM, Monday to Friday. Per diem, Hotel accommodation, car rental, and flight/mileage offered in this contract. Please note this contract position is located in Calgary, Alberta

The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $55.00/hr.
